Welcome to the read me.

What you have in your possession is every E-Zine publication produced by the CULT OF THE DEAD COW from 1984 until today... which is June 22nd 2008. Also included are the global domination updates and (to the best of my ability) an archived version of the old cDc website from when it was still hosted from the l0pht.

I have taken the liberty of formatting this in an easy to read and navigate form you can view on just about any internet capable device that has the ability to read locally stored HTML documents.

In the old version of the site I have disabled the hyperlinks that do not exist anymore and ammended those that do. So, if you see something that "should" have a link to it but doesn't, that is just my way of saving you a 404.

I personally use my Playstation Portable to view these files to read them on the go, and for those using this on the PSP, custom firmware IS NOT mandatory to view these files.

I will tell you how to view these on the PSP, I have not tested this on any other device to date but
do not see why you shouldn't be able to use this on any mobile device with the ability read locally stored files and/or display HTML.

Simply plug your PSP (or other mobile device) into your computer and enable USB mode, go to the root of your memory stick and just drag and drop the folder "cDctexXxt" into the root of your memory stick. You will need 14MB of free storage space to do so.

Once the transfer is finished, disable USB mode and go to your internet browser/file viewer.

PSP Only : Now your internet browser is being displayed, go to the address entry bar and type in
"file:/cdctexxxt/index.htm", minus the quotation marks of course.

Other Mobile Devices : I am sure a similar method "should" be available, lurk moar.

PC : If for some reason you wish to view this on your personal computer, simply open cDcTexXxt and open index.htm with your web browser of choice. You should now be viewing the index page of the texXxt files, if you got the "this content cannot be displayed" message, it means you typed in the address wrong. Just double check your spelling.

Thanks again to G'Ratte and Myles for their interest and support of the project.

Enjoy >:3
